ABOUT ME
I am a writer of fiction in many genres. I live in the wonderful city of Newcastle and have lived in the North East my whole life. Why would I live anywhere else?
My writing is influenced by horror authors such as James Herbert but I also love other genres such as the historical works of Bernard Cornwall and even good old fashioned thrillers by the likes of Alastair Maclean and Desmond Bagley, as well as my favourite writer, Derek Robinson.
Minstrel's Bargain was born the same year as my eldest daughter; 1993. Since then I have written the following two books in that series as well as a sci-fi chiller, Point of Contact. After writing A Life Eternal, I then decided to have a go at my own historical thriller. That book is Shadow of the Knife, the first in a planned series of books featuring Doctor 'Jigsaw' Jarman and Inspector Jonas Handy.
